[Legal name of the business operating Yes, V, and its country/state of registration] is responsible for your personal data in Yes, V. Contact: yesv.connect@gmail.com. [Postal address, and an EU/UK representative if required.]
Account: email address, name if provided, and sign-in details (handled by our hosting platform).
Profile: display name, a yes/no confirmation that you are 18 or over (self-declared, not verified), language, timezone, and the interests, styles and hopes you choose to add.
Content you write: situations, check-ins, reflections, self-discovery entries and music choices.
Connections (only if you join): which profile details you choose to share, connection requests, blocks and reports.
Photos (only if you upload them): stored privately. Location data (GPS) and other hidden metadata are removed in your browser before upload.
Billing: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, status and dates. Card details are held by Stripe, not by us.
Usage: counts of AI responses used each month, and records needed to prevent abuse and duplicate billing.
When you ask for an insight or reflection, the text you wrote for that request is sent to an AI model through our hosting platform to generate a response. [Name the AI providers/sub-processors, and confirm whether they may keep or train on inputs.]
AI responses are suggestions, not facts about anyone. They are not shown to other members.
Connection suggestions are calculated by our own code from the details you chose to share. No AI is involved.
Your situations, check-ins, reflections and insights are private to you.
Other members see only the profile details you switch on in Connections, and your photos only after you give them permission. You can take that permission back at any time.
Location is off by default and never shown to other people.
Our administrators can access records when needed to run the service, handle billing, respond to reports and keep people safe. [Confirm who has admin access.]
Base44 (hosting, database, sign-in, file storage, email, AI requests) and Stripe (payments). [Complete list, the countries where data is processed, and transfer safeguards.]
[Needs review for the regions you serve. Draft: to provide the service you pay for (contract), to process payments and keep tax records (legal obligation), for safety and fraud/duplicate-billing prevention (legitimate interests), and AI processing of your content (your consent, given in onboarding).]
Settings → Your data → "Delete all situations & reflections" permanently deletes your situations, insights, reflections, check-ins and self-discovery entries.
Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your profile, content, music, photo records, connection settings, requests, permissions, blocks you made, usage counts and subscription records, and cancels any active subscription.
Some data is kept after you delete your account: reports you made or that were made about you, and blocks other members placed on you (for safety). Also a hashed email marker so the introduction stays once per person, billing review records, and payment records Stripe keeps under its own legal obligations. [Retention period for each.]
When you remove a photo or delete your account, the photo record is deleted and nobody, including other members, can open the photo through Yes, V again. [Confirm with the hosting platform how long the underlying private file stays in storage after that.]
Your content is kept until you delete it. We do not delete it automatically after a set time.
[Backup retention period at the hosting platform.]
You can view and edit your data in the app, delete it as described above, and contact us for a copy of your data or to object or complain. [Response time, export method, and how to contact your local data-protection authority.]
Yes, V is for adults 18 and over. Age is self-declared and not verified. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.
We send marketing email only if you switch it on in Settings. It is off by default.
[Confirm what the hosting platform stores in your browser (sign-in tokens, analytics) and whether a cookie notice is required.]
We will post updates here with a new date and tell members of significant changes by email or in the app.
